DrRox:
Since there was no RB in Leg 2, it will be interesting just how TPTB set the upper limit for this race. Three RBs to go.

Oh for heavens' sake. No, ALL the racers have finale events, May 8 has been a confirmed date for some time.

--- Quote from: Slowhatch on April 25, 2011, 09:21:41 AM ---The Special Thanks for this ep mentioned Mammut Switzerland. They make alpine clothes and rescue gear (but not tripod pulleys, it seems).

--- End quote ---

Mammut has extensive products and services, more than just those. They have 5 different types of Alpine schools. In addition to alpine clothes and rescue gear, they make and sell:
Footwear
Ropes
Climbing Gear
Backpacks
Sleeping Sytems
Headlamps

Beyond that, they provide avalanche rescue services.

I cannot figure out which of the above were used in the just-telecast episode, although I can imagine how several of them might be involved in the next episode telecast.

--- Quote ---"Too Many Cooks in the Kitchen (Switzerland)" - Teams brave bone-chilling temperatures as they come face-to-face with the world famous Matterhorn, and tempers flare in the most intense argument of the season, on THE AMAZING RACE, Sunday, May 1 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.  Phil Keoghan is host.

These are always slightly different, I don't know why:

--- Quote ---TEAMS ARE PUSHED TO THE EDGE BOTH PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY AS THEY COME FACE-TO-FACE WITH THE WORLD FAMOUS MATTERHORN, AND TEARS ARE SHED IN THE MOST INTENSE ARGUMENT OF THE SEASON, ON "THE AMAZING RACE," SUNDAY, MAY 1
