Dr Rox, I suspect they are not given the food until they only have 12 minutes left in the rotation.  In other words, the food isn't served as soon as they are seated and moving, the Racers are having to wait to be served.

Ans also, Dr Rox, I mentioned in this thread as the time that first promo was available that has the Cowboys comment in Salzberg once they have the book, that I thought the editors were using misleading editing in the promo. I still believe we have to understand the comments are referring no other teams in their proximity of the castle behind the Cowboys.  My speculation is that even if the Cowboys were last out of the Vienna airport (which may or may not be true), they zip through the tasks for this leg, and arrive first. It won't seem to matter if they did the eating or the couch option on the detour or for some reason had to do both, I still think they will do it faster and with fewer problems than the other teams.

I'm also not sure if this will be a no-rest pit stop or not, but I do believe we're getting another no-rest NEL pit stop before the end of the Race.

I speculate that each team has a set time of twelve minutes rather than the time span of one revolution, because teams getting on and off the ferris wheel could cause "one revolution" to be more of a dynamic time frame than a static time frame.

There is a cap somewhere of the food going thru the door though.

Here it is. That shot looks like for show, there are no teams in there. How else would they get the food up there but through the door anyway?

I will bet that is from the stand-up, and not from the actual task filming.
