hmmm... thanks for the info! it helps a lot... I'm just so worried that my favorite might go home... and I don't think the cowboys aren't that bad with navigation.. a lot of teams from all seasons makes the wrong turn too you know... :)

ianinator..........At this point in time, Wed 340pm CST, April 13, 2011, I only have evidence of 4 teams ever making it to Salzburg. From the preview/promo screencaps from this episode, I know that Jet/Cord and Kent/Vyxin get there. From previous spoilers I know that Kisha/Jen and FT/BE get there. Whether Kisha/Jen and/or FT/BE were racing or acting as decoys is not known.

For those looking at light levels for clues, it looks like for Vienna in early December sunrise is about 7:30am and sunset is around 4:00pm.

Would any relevant red-eye flights have turned the Racers loose before sunrise once you account for clearing customs and such? Or could they have gotten in late and hit a 8:00am HOO start time in order to finish any longish drives before dark?

Regarding the Jet/Cord comment about no one being behind them, I can easily think of a context that no one is proximately behind them at that location, not necessarily that they are the last team at that point.
I've seen too many editor tricks over the years not to consider the above as the actual context of the comment, which could be used in a misleading way by the editors for the previews/promos.

I think you're absolutely right. Also, I definitely don't believe that the editors would have included the quote if the cowboys actually were the ones sent home. It seems like they just want to stir up some anticipation.

Does the stamp/image in the opened book sort of look like the giant Ferris Wheel? That wouldn't make any sense timeline wise, but that was my first thought.
EDIT: Just actually watched the preview and it's clearly just a stamp of some sort. What does Justin say exactly? "Drive a big book from Harry Potter?"

He says "We just had to grab a big book from a chick in Harry Potter." I think he means that the girl giving them the book looks like Hermione from Harry Potter.
