Call me crazy but I love TARA's product placement in almost in a "it's so bad it's good way". It is SO over the top, so much so that I think TARA without product placement is like Christmas without presents.
I just can't watch an episode of TARA without listening to a man in a very American-Asian accent say "This program is brought to you by Air Asia, Ford, Bintan Lagoon Resort, Nokia N-Series, Sony HD World, Caltex, Standard Charted Bank, MSN." (am I forgetting any?)

Yeah, I don't really mind the product placement since without them we won't even get the season. And some of those tasks are just so over the top to the point that it's so bad it's good. <33

They also went to Hong Kong in TARA2 to just count money for the bank(before flying all the way to New Zealand)

I still cry over the last one eliminating Mai & Oliver... and then I smile again when I realized Ida & Tania would have gone if they didn't and I smiled again! :P
