Well now with offical CBS confirmation of both the Express Pass and Automatic U Turn.....it probably means that both teams were on the later flight, that arrived earlier. At least the Automatic U Turn team was. If Phil does in fact hand out the Express Pass at the faux Pit Stop on the beach....bet it sure upsets the 8 teams on the first flight that had to stopover in Honolulu, that were planning on winning it.

If that article is correct then we have to assume that Gary-Mallory won the Express Pass, although if I remember from another post, someone asked them if they had won it and they denied it, not that they necessarily told the truth.
The question that arises from that article for me is: Which team received the Automatic U-Turn? The one who finished the starting line last, meaning one of the three in the non-delayed flight, or the last team to the faux Pit Stop, meaning the Cowboys?

Good question kikisak, the article says the last team to arrive at the mat. To me this indicates the "fake PS" since he calls it a mat not a PitStop.
I think the U-turn will be enforced in Broken Hill b/c Coutzy said there is no Detour in Leg 1. However if Krimanda is eliminated in BH then the Cowboys who arrived last at the midway must be the first team to overcome the Uturn, a point that TPTB will probably enjoy and promote.

Yes good questions.......but then again.......they could hand the Express Pass out at BrokenHill......the first real pit stop. Lots of unspoiled stuff to look for on Sunday night.
