Yes however that train can be used to connect from Austria to Zurich. There must have been some sort of stop or challenge on the way from Austria to Zurich. Liechtenstein maybe?

You mean a connection like Vienna to Sargans, Sargans to Chur and Chur to Zurich? I think that would work.

No.The Vienna train goes Vienna - Sargans - Chur. The Chur one goes Chur - Sargans - Zurich. The lines intersect at Sargans. Which points to a Liechtenstein stop or something else in that region.
