So it looks like the first clue in St Petersburg is the spoiler clue of teams spotted at St. Isaac's Cathedral (based on the flight arrival time of 1:33 pm).

yeah I agree, so we have 3 tasks,

The Babushka
Pianos
and the Film!

I think the film and the piano task are detour choices while the Babushka task is the roadblock. (just speculation)
