Nat and Kat are also doctors... Regardless of whether or not they win TAR17 (which I don't know, and don't want to know!), they already took one month of work off at their hospital, so I don't think they'd be able to take another month off so soon after the first one (even if they are 5-6 months away. Americans don't get very many days off a year).

I think that's probably true. It is hard for any team who raced in the year prior to the all stars to return in the same calendar year. The only teams who returned from season 10 were Dustin and Kandice and David and Mary. Those people do not strike me as having very much to do.

Keeping this good qualifier in mind, who could return from this year?

Michael & Kevin
Gary & Mallory
Katie & Rachel, maybe?

I don't know for sure. That's all I can think of. Michael and Gary seem like they could be old enough to be retired, Kevin's young, and I don't know what Mallory, Katie, and Rachel do other than look pretty/play volleyball. :duno:

Jill & Thomas                     "    "
Nick & Vicki                     I don't think they are too busy pursuing their careers
Brook & Claire                     Probably not because of Claire, but I know Brook would go again, even with someone else
Nat & Kat                    Couldn't get the time off
Gary & Mallory                    They could probably make it happen
Michael & Kevin                Pretty much self-employed, a definite possibility
Katie & Rachel                    I'm not sure how the beach volleyball circuit works.  :helpme
Connor & Jonathan          I couldn't even venture a guess
Andie & Jenna                    I don't get from them that they would return
Ron & Tony                      Have busy careers, Race won't return last place finisher

Claire was pregnant for the filming of TAR 17 and didnt know it then.
