I checked in again with our original source for the Accra spotting.
Before slowhatch ID'd the pic as Kaneshie market, I sent her the pic and asked for help with the ID..
She replied and clarified where the vans were and who her friend saw...

That angle is kind of hard because it even looks like the airport even. But Kaneshie would be my most educated guess. I no longer live there to run down the street and check. The main road down to that area is the Tema motorway, it also has another long name to it named after a former president. Most people just call it the motorway. We live off Achimota which goes down to the motorway. The airport is also near our house and you have to get onto Liberation ave. Our area is called Dzorwulu (pronounced Joe-a-loo).
I hope that helps. But I don’t have solid stuff as to the actual events, just the vans. So, its probably lacking. Oh, I believe my friend said it was the father and daughter team that my friends saw running down the road. Kaneshie market is off that road.
