Strong earthquake strikes New Zealand!

I just heard there was a 7.4 magnitude earthquake outside of Christchurch, New Zealand. I believe that's the part of New Zealand Phil is from. I hope Phil and all his friends and family are OK. For that matter, I hope everyone down there is OK and damage proves to be minor.
