The Sun-Sentinel interview did not say, but a quick google came up with this information from URI: http://www.gorhody.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/waltrip_chad00.html. 2003-2006. Turns out he's from metro Atlanta originally, and conceivably might just be related to the racing Waltrip family.
