Brendon says the last job he had last summer was marketing, it was based on Scientology practices. He sold credit card devices to gas stations. Like staring at someone for 15 mins without blinking.
He says it was super weird. You would have to super demos. Read up about then then do a demo.

Brendon talking about a friend that he knew for 10 years. He says he told his immediate boss about going back to school, he got a phone call that he had been accepted for his PHD. He was ready to be fired but they told him no you are doing well. He says he was like 3rd in the company. A month later he got a phone call that he was being let go. He says his boss called him in and told him it was a mistake but he didn't want to work for a company that accidentally fires you. He says there were a lot of Scientology people working there.

He read through about Scientology, read Ron Hubbard's book. Some of it he understood but the way they went about it...
Matt: They made you read Ron Hubbard's stuff?
Bren: I didn't stay there long enough or I'd have had to listen to his tapes. :colors
