TAR All-Stars 2 Wish List

<< < (2/11) > >>

apskip:
And I wish for the non-existence of any future Amazing Race All-Stars seasons because they are inferior to regular seasons.

Mug Costanza:
I kinda hope this doesn't happen, but with S18 applications not having been released yet, it's starting to look like a possibility.

Racers:

Kynt & Vyxsin (TAR12)
Nicolas & Donald (TAR12)
Toni & Dallas (TAR13)
Kelly & Christy (TAR13)
Margie & Luke (TAR14)
Jaime & Cara (TAR14)
Sam & Dan (TAR15)
Brian & Ericka (TAR15)
Jet & Cord (TAR16)
Carol & Brandy (TAR16)
F/F Team (TAR17)

Route:

As far as I'm concerned, they should only go to cities and/or countries they've never been before, including Start and End Cities. I would also do 13 Legs, like the last All-Star season.

Leg 1:
San Diego, California, USA -> Guayaquil, Ecuador
Leg 2:
Guayaquil, Ecuador -> Asuncion, Paraguay
Leg 3:
Asuncion, Paraguay -> Porto Alegre, Brazil
Leg 4:
Porto Alegre, Brazil -> Madrid, Spain
Leg 5:
Madrid, Spain -> Dublin, Ireland
Leg 6:
Dublin, Ireland -> Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK
Leg 7:
Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK -> Doha, Qatar
Leg 8:
Doha, Qatar -> Vladivostok, Russia
Leg 9:
Vladivostok, Russia -> Melbourne, Australia
Leg 10:
Melbourne, Australia -> Hobart, Australia
Leg 11:
Hobart, Australia -> Suva, Fiji
Leg 12:
Suva, Fiji -> Vancouver, Canada
Leg 13:
Vancouver, Canada -> St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Line 1: I wonder, do all of them got casted in All-Stars? Only 11 did. How about the remaining ~110 teams?
Line 2: How did you know?  Why do you think so?
Line 3: Is this another dream wishlist?

Just askin' ;)
If you want to turn this into a wishlist, please put "wishlist" in the title so that readers won't be confused whether this is the real thing or not. Thnx. :tup:

Sorry my bad, I have deleted that comment.

Hooky:
Another All-Stars should not only bring back teams from TAR 12 and onwards, but should also give some teams from the skipped seasons (4 and 6), as well as some who proved they could have gone further, a chance this time. Winners should not be selected. Here's the cast I would love to see:

1. Jon & Al (4)
2. Colin & Christie (5)
3. Lena & Kristy (6)
4. Kris & Jon (6)
5. Ronald & Christina (12)
6. Azaria & Hendekea (12)
7. Ken & Tina (13)
8. Toni & Dallas (13)
9. Margie & Luke (14)
10. Zev & Justin (15)
11. Jet & Cord (16)
12. Steve & Allie (16)

Competitor:
If I were doing a "recent" All-Stars then I would have the following:

Carol and Brandy (16): Such lightning rods that if they do bring back teams, I don't know how these two aren't amongst them.
Kisha and Jen (14): One potty break kept them out of the final three. Well, that and Jen having a complete meltdown at the pool.
Kelly and Christie (13): Good racers. Need another female-female team.
Globetrotters (15): Enjoyed watching them race. Had fun, stayed competitive.
Ken and Tina (13): One of the more touching moments was when they were on the mat at the conclusion of their season.
Dallas and Toni (13): Unfortunate passport episode kept them from possibly winning the race. They were getting stronger as the race neared completion. I think that a final three with them, Nick and Starr and Ken and Tina is unbelievably close.
Azaria and Hendekea (12): Brother-Sister team who seemed very strong but just hit that leg where nothing goes right.
Kynt and Vixsin (12): One of the more memorable teams in TAR history. Just like with Carol and Brandy, I can't imagine an All-Stars race that doesn't include them.
Mark and Bill (13): They were two guys that you wanted to see do well. Sadly, they misread or ignored the clue and it cost them. Hate to see a team eliminated like that.
Margie and Luke (14): Proved the doubters wrong week after week.
Amanda and Kris (14): Strong team who struggled with a detour and then fell victim to a U-Turn.
Eric and Lisa (15): Only because TAR did them wrong with that starting line elimination. Give them a chance to run the race.
Zev and Justin: Who wasn't pulling for these guys before the passport mishap?

That's 13 teams. Probably subtract one of the male-male teams to make 12, and do what you want from there, but that's just how I see it...

I think this would present an unbelievably strong group of teams. Eric and Lisa are the only team that one wouldn't really know what to expect and that's because we haven't really seen them race. Among the other 11 teams, you could make the case that any of them could be the first ones eliminated or be in the final three.

How many of my teams were recruits? Carol and Brandy, Eric and Lisa, Amanda and Kris (?), Globetrotters (?)
