TARA - Behind the Scenes!
Hey all,
As I mentioned earlier, I am trailer Producer working for AXN, and I am here to give you some insider scoop on The Amazing Race Asia’s new season!
After 2 years of absence, I’m really excited to be working on the new season! And this time.. there will be blood! Hehe.. kidding. But seriously, from what little I’ve seen, there’s cat fights at every bend and high drama at every turn (sorry couldn’t help it, I am a trailer producer after all =)
Here’s some more inside scoop:
Expect a more diverse group of competitors than the past 3 seasons - from a former Strip Club manager and a teenage runaway, to a closely-knitted father-daughter team, hoping to win for charity, plus a married couple, aiming to be heroes on their child's favorite TV show.. you name it!
We recently finished shooting the trailers with the teams and gosh I felt we were in a race already. The teams were like caged fighters raring to go. That’s always a good sign. They had a lot of interesting strategies (some hilarious ones too) to talk about. But believe me, no matter how much you plan in the race, how much ever you think you can do it.. it all goes for a toss when Allan Wu says GO! From there on, it’s just a struggle to stay afloat. It’s a living hell at times for the team, but sure is fun to watch isn’t it!?
Anyways, I’ll sign off for now, gotta go and work on my next Amazing race trailers. More interesting racers will be unveiled on Sept 2 during Racers Revealed on AXN. But why wait? Check the exclusive online preview on Aug 26, just for you guys, our dear AXN online community! And yes do watch my work on air and let me know what you think of the trailers. Ciao till then.

Peach, if you reread my previous post I've already mentioned the Philippine All-female team representative for this season of TARA. I've already got a confirmation from a very reliable source, so I think you can add that to the cast as well. :tup:
