Amazing Race 17 premieres Sunday, September 26 with a special 90-minute premier 8:30 - 10:00 p.m.

It then resumes its 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. regular timeslot the following week.

The date isn't a surprise, but the return of an extended premiere episode, along with being realistic about NFL overruns surely is.

 :yess: Maybe TAR 17 will have that classic feel the first few seasons had. :)

Sounds like there'll be a lot in this premiere!

Also, it sounds like only a one-leg premiere, and possibly an eleven-leg race.  Maybe twelve if the season ends on December 12.
