I still think Coit Tower is the first task, not the last, unless all the other tasks took less than 2 hours to complete (memory task included)

Hmm..... but didn't Phil say that the clip they showed of the 2 set of brothers climbing Coit tower was their last task? This also implies that D/J and J/C are basically neck & neck toward the pitstop!

Actually, Phil did not know which clip they were gonna air. The production lady says "final challenge", and Phil only says "it was really good".

I may be going really far with this, but hey look at Dan's hair in the picture. It looks much more sweaty and messed up in the Letterman task still than in the Coit Tower promo photo. He looks like he had had some exercise already :D
Unless he cleaned himself up between tasks he could not look neat in the Coit Tower if it was the last task...

--- Quote from: Chateau d If on May 07, 2010, 09:27:35 AM ---This shot was taken here

It was taken between 10:37 and 10:46 am (assumes December 20th).

Second photo above is near the spot of the cowboys outside LDAC where Chateau estimated 10:37 to 10:46... I estimate B&C here at 10-10:20AM but I'm eyeballing the shadow angle to get this.

Chateau or anyone else, can you double check this?  Reference points for Caite is tree to lamp post, for Brent two trees on far side of Letterman drive small leaning tree and the sign across the parking lot...

This would put Coite after LDAC?

:idgit.... Could they have put a speed bump at the Tonga room sending all teams to Coit first?

Sailing:
Could Catie and Brent be so far behind that when they arrived at Coit Tower the Cowboys and Dan/Jordan had crossed the finish line aldreay.

So TPTB asked Catie to repeal after Brent to act as decoys?

That would go along with the tweet about both Catie and Brent doing that task.

I think the rule about each team member having to complete 6 RB's went out the window several seasons ago.

hallai:
Based on the posts, tweet times, sunlight estimations and google earth travel times:

* 08:45 AM Plane Landed.
* 09:00 AM Frantic couples with backbacks running thru SFO followed by film crew. Great Race contestants? (Brothers?)
* 09:15 AM Just went through customs on San Francisco, standing in line with two guys from Amazing Race and their camera crew. (Cowboys?)
* 09:22 AM Cowboys(?) leave SFO.
* 09:30 AM Brothers(?) arrive at Coit Tower.
* 09:50 AM Cowboys(?) arrive at Coit Tower.
* 10:15 AM Brothers(?) leave Coit Tower.
* 10:25 AM Storm Troopers are escorting 'Amazing Race' contestants through the Letterman Digital Arts Center. (Brothers?)
* 10:27-46 AM Cowboys(?) leave Coit Tower.
* 10:37-46 AM Cowboys arrive at LDAC.
* 11:14 AM Amazing Race contestants just completed near-final stage by rappelling up San Francisco's Coit Tower! (Models)
* 11:58 AM The Amazing Race contestants scaled the tower then hopped in a SF cab, but I didn't see which team it was. (Models)
According to Google Earth:

* 27 Mins from SFO to Coit Tower.
* 10 Mins from Coit Tower to LDAC.
Any thoughts?

It was only explicitly mentioned in TAR 6, but I believe it's still retained. Otherwise, why has not one team broken down the rule.
I also believe the Globetrotters mentioned it sometime last season.

Looks like Coit Tower -> LDAC -> Tonga -> Music Hall -> Candlestick Park, with a memory task sometime during or after music hall.
