--- Quote from: mswood on March 21, 2010, 12:29:39 PM ---Do we see Louie & Michael in the footage of the detour and roadblock (I don't remember seeing them or Steve & Allie), with the possibility of a fast forward I wouldn't be surprised at all if either of those teams went for it (or Jeff & Jordan, but since we don't think they survive this leg, then it would mean they really screwed up a fast forward).

In the u-tube vid on page 1, at 11 seconds, someone says "you've got to be kidding me" as they are going into the vineyards - It looks like maybe Louie and Mike???
--- End quote ---
That very well might be Louie & Mike (Certainly their voice) and looks to big to be Dan & Jordan or Jet & Cord.
DrRox:
Seems to be crazy audio editing to me. It seems to be Steve saying.........."We have to find a bunch of grapes" and then Mike says......."You got to be kidding".........It seems there is an audio splice between the two, to me.

--- Quote from: Boingo on March 19, 2010, 01:30:46 PM --- :yess: had it the first time... the pyramid pouring is at the Taittinger vineyards of Chateau de la Marquetterie carriage house in Pierry.

Pierry is about 30 km south of Reims (and the Champagne caves) based on GE.

Pierry is only 2 miles from the center of Epernay and the distance gator27 says from Reims. I am hypothesizing that the sequence of tasks will start in Reims and then finish in or near Epernay.
That gives teams some options in getting to CDG airport. Backtracking to Reims does not make sense. It would be preferable to go to the 22 km Chalons-en-Champagne TGV station. With its direct trains to CDG, that would appear to be the quickest way to CDG.
I will add more after I do some train research. Her are the schedules for the TER trains Epernay to Paris-Est:
Epernay Departure 5.22 6.34 6.56 8.07 8.38 8.56 9.47 09.59 10.48 12.56 12.56 13.06 15.19 16.42 16.53 17.45 17.45 18.43 19.03 19.31 20.47 20.24 21.33 21.57
PARIS-EST Arrival 6.42 7.50 8.17 9.21 9.52 10.13 10.59 11.11 11.58 14.10 14.14 14.26 16.29 17.54 18.07 19.04 19.04 20.05 20.16 20.50 22.06 21.37 22.45 23.10
I am not providing the days-of-the-week because it gets complex and almost all trains run 7 days.
This obviously takes a maximum of 1.5 hours and as little as 70 minutes.
There are options to get from Paris-Est to CDG. The best route is get to Gare-du-Nord and take the RER B which runs many times every hour. By cab if not in the afternoon rush hour it should not take more than 10 minutes by taxi. There are no direct buses. RER-B does not stop at Paris-Est. From Gare-du-Nord to CDG-Roissy takes about 15 minutes and RER-B runs from 455am until 1215am. It runs ab out every 3 minutes from 7am until 9pm and then is about 12 trains per hour druing the other operating hours.
From Chalons-en-Champagne TGV station, schedules are:
05:19 06:14 06:57 07:15 08:15 10:19 10:22 10:23 12:12 14:24 16:16 17:16 17:57 18:16 19:07 20:19
06:53 07:53 08:00 08:53 09:53 11:53 11:53 11:53 13:53 15:58 17:53 18:53 19:00 19:53 20:41 21:53
Again, most of these trains run every day, so I have not tried to copy over the complex details (it took me hours the last time I tried).

In the above twitvid, Jeff and Jordan are entering Maison champagne Leclerc-Briant in Epernay. I'm not having any luck copying links

and I will do my best to figure out ahead of CBS when 60 Minutes will tip off. The "5pm" games are now revised to 508pm, 520pm and 525pm, but only the latest-finishing of them matters as CBS has shown that its telecasts will catch all possible game endings in a time slot. There may be Overtime in any of the games, which could extend them beyond a "normal" 2 hours with all those timeouts at the end of each half. I will guess that the Duke/California game will NOT be the last one finished, as Duke has a big edge and the game should not have as many starts/stops as the other 2 games. That means that I see a 725pm 60 Minutes start tonight unless there is Overtime.
