Looks like they figure out their mistake at the next station, Stadthausbrücke. They're not going to the Reeperbahn then. No red light district at night for these racers!

And here's the checker pattern at the bottom of the wall, the indicator for where short trains stop.

i think there's been a couple like that before.  just not with an intersection...
