Frommer's Review

Step back in time to the old Patagonian pioneer days, at this country store dating back more than a century. Little has changed since the days when Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid purportedly stopped in for a meal. It's northeast of Bariloche, on the road to Villa La Angostura, past the airport turn-off and the town of Dina Huapi. The menu is pure Patagonian, including lamb slow-grilled on a spit and every cut of beef you could imagine, from T-bone to tongue. This makes a great stop for a midday meal if you are on a sightseeing drive.

Neobie:
The pictures match our shots, but could we pinpoint something with this? It's "down the road from La Lipela"...

Slowhatch:
Here's a page about boliches, word meanings, and descriptions of the place. I still don't get the "joint."

In a cultural note, in Mexico, a "boliche" is a bowling ally
