TAR16 - EP2: "When the Cow Kicked Me in the Head (Chile)"--
Slowhatch:
Someplace with a narrower "inlet," I think; I like Neobie's hotel.
If Jebber is Ep2, then the cars still have to be resolved. The trunk cap looks like cabs, not self-drive (yellow roofs, driver standing by). And I don't think anyone has figured out the "old joint."

 No surprise here, Temuco is the end of the line for the bus trip. They switch to (taxi?) cars at the Terminal Rodoviario de La Araucanía, Temuco, Chile. :snicker:
eta: which leaves them a good 200 miles from Puerto Varas... hmmmm, why do we see a lone racer looking worried in the bus terminal? ....did they miss the connection? ....are they taking a cab to catch up with the others further south? ....so many questions :lol3: :duno:

Maybe they have to take cabs back to Osorno, then bus to Angostura/Bariloche.
Neobie:
Remember, teams check in at the end of Leg Two around mid-day of the 1st. If teams are released from Santiago/Valparaiso on the morning of the 30th (following the assumption that gloves=morning), that means a daytime bus ride would result in an overnight stay somewhere around Puerto Varas. Would that be at the Onces as Peach pointed out (any insider info?), at the Temuco bus stop, or maybe in the cabin Jet/Cord are searching in? It's a 13.5h bus ride to Puerto Varas, 9.5h to Temuco.
Jebber has the teams in Argentina, so I'm pretty sure that's Leg Three.
Hypothesis: Travel to Temuco by bus, arrive around sundown, find a departure time in the cabins a la Southern Colonel in TAR 8 (Jet/Cord doing the OK sign), depart the next morning by taxi.
