It sounds like lingering resentment between Jet and the Pious brothers to me, but the rodeo world isn't the most gay friendly atmosphere (and I live in a rodeo town), so it isn't too shocking to me to find out that Jet might have some homophobia. It is disappointing though. Too bad we're unlikely to hear more about this from an uninvolved 3rd party.

The cowboys also upset Carol & Brandy. I'm not surprised if they got they instead of Brent & Caite, they would have u-turned the cowboys (No point u-turning the detectives, u can easily beat them in a footrace). I'm 200% sure Dan & Jo would do the same thing.
