The Amazing Race 16 Destinations/Locations

It's a genuine "Make your way to the airport"
a) ask for a ride (this was reported)
b) bus (maybe Flyaway from Union Station)
c) metro (maybe Red, Blue, Green, etc.)
d) taxi
Taxi? Teams had enough cash to do a taxi. I saw $100 bill plus more being exchanged at LAX for Chilean Pesos. The average exchange rate of the Chilean Peso to the U.S Dollar was 1 U.S. Dollar to 522.46 Chilean Pesos in 2008 (wikipedia).
This shot was taken near the main entrance to Union Station. The direction the Mompeneaurs are headed is consistent with entering at the front and going back to the Metro and Flyaway locations. You would not need to go to where the shot was taken if you were arriving at Union Station by Metro. You would just stay in the Metro area and transfer to the Blue line.
Or they could be lost in Union Station. :lol:

Hate to disagree with with a native - but the Blue line doesn't go to Union Station - only the Red and Purple - and no one wants to take the scary Purple line.

Oh yeah, no Blue line at Union Station. So if they arrived on the Red Line then they are lost looking for the Blue line. I'm betting that they arrived on foot and are making their way to the Flyaway bus.
