One of the problems with Victor's analysis is this. Teams have to have known from the detailed instructions that came with the clue (which some teams were shown reading) who they were supposed to find, and there's every indication that Jeff nor Jordan read them completely or carefully.

Had they done so, they would have finished the leg sooner.

The only cowboy specific task was he roping task. None of the other tasks were specific to cowboys. Jet even missed on the first throw too.

And what about Joe not reading the clue properly.  He watch/compass could have been a directional asset and he could have focused on counting steps.  For that matter, the detectives tried to reason their way to a short cut instead of following directions.

Reading is fundamental.

The finale is set for May 9th. For the first time that I can remember, CBS has just released the finale dates this far ahead of time for TAR, Cold Case, Survivor, and some specials that will be aired in May on Sundays.

Wonderful!! Thank you!! But still...I remember at least one TARcon where released dates were changed about 3 weeks before...so take it still with a grain of salt :lol:

But May 9 fiits best with our speculated dates,so yay!!
