???  Not necesasarily.

I explained my reasons for this before. If they had a leg in Europe, you would have expected a spoiler by now, plus the flight via Dubai to Malaysia would make less sense unless they did Europe first then Africa. Also the amount of European legs in the last two seasons makes is less likely, but yes not impossible.

The route that has been spoilt so far doesn't really allow a leg in Oceania (which is not a continent btw). I know people in the US think Australia is some far off distance land, but we do have a lot of people and the technology to have spoiled this by now unless they went directly to the outback or hid in the bush the whole time!

Are we no longer going on the assumption that there are five continents, then? ???

Caelestor:
No one has ever thought that Australia was visited, seeing as a team was sighted on a flight from Dubai to Kuala Lumpur.
Right now, it appears as if Asuncion is likely true, which would give 5 legs in South America. We are also assuming that there was a leg in Kuala Lumpur. This leaves legs 6 and 7 unaccounted for.

Macaroons stated that there were 5 continents. Considering his track record, he may very well be correct.

All I know is that TAR 16 should have at least 2 new countries.

I HIGHLY suggest we take the Djibouti "sighting" with a grain of salt, though.

The location of the Elimination Station often hints at where teams could be eliminated.

Glamazon Racer:
With no time for an Oceania visit and with the spoiler about 5 continents, that means Europe and Africa MUST have at least one leg each (unless Antarctica got a special visit, I'd like to hear what Caitlin thinks of that :lol3: )

Assuming that five continents is true, which I hope it is (after the last two seasons) that means that if Djibouti is correct, then I have either two possibilities:

OPTION #1: Five legs is South America, then one each in Africa and Europe, before the horde of Asian legs and the finale.

OPTION #2: Perhaps there was only four legs in South America (just random speculation :duno: ) and then we can have one in Europe and two in Africa (or vice versa) and then the rest in Asia.

I'd think that Option #1 would probably be more likely with current information, but I like the idea in Option #2.

Let me get this in writing before anything gets written in stone.

We have two tenuous references, one to "Alemania" and one to Asuncion, Paraguay.

I, personally, put more faith in the Alemania reference, which came from a reporter writing about the Bariloche leg.

The Paraguay reference came from someone who saw camera/sound crews in an airport.  No teams were spotted.  Don't the camera and sound men follow the teams, rather than go ahead of them?  Something just doesn't add up.

Wiki says they when to Germany after S.America, we don't know if there are 12 legs, but this should be it.

Do you really believe that Wikipedia knows more than we do here?

Assuming you can read Spanish... it says they when to Germany after finishing in Baroliche, Argentina.
