Speculation on TAR16 *no wish-lists please*
apskip:
Is it possible that, in a move designed to confuse RFF and others attempting to spoil AR16, WRP decided to split the location of the first leg and have about half go to Vina del Mar and the other half to Buenos Aires before joining up later in Santiago or Bariloche. This would be radical but how else can the apparent photos of 11/29 teams in Buenos Aires be reconciled? If split you could eliminate one team from both first leg locations or more likely have a NEL in both locations.

Since I already think we'll have an uberleg this season, so the show can get its finale in May, somehow, I'll put the idea of the first leg as a TBC or uber-leg as a way to reconcile the seeming inconsistency.

Somebody thought that the eliminated racers were sequestered in Mexico during the running of TAR9. I remember FrostieJ posting about Portugal.

--- Quote ---this past Sunday we stumbled upon the taping of what I believe to have been the French, or possibly Portugese, version of the reality TV show “The Amazing Race”.

Hi! I saw your pictures of the “Amazing Race” and was curious about what you saw. The US version is filming in South America and I’m tracking it. Can you tell me anything you saw? Maybe how many teams and a description? I don’t think it was the US version, but want to make sure. Thanks!

We’re not sure that it was the actual “Amazing Race”, but definitely something like it. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t the US version since the contestants weren’t speaking English (or Spanish), but that’s interesting that it’s currently filming in South America. It was pretty amusing watching the camera guys chase the contestants through the crowds. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get too many details, but the team of two girls seemed to be in the lead…
