I'm debating whether Australia gets 2 legs if it is/was visited.

Only chance of teams going to Australia before Singapore is if they went to somewhere like Ayres Rock or Alice Spings (which would be cool). No way could they get away with it in a major city like Sydney or Melbourne without someone spotting them already.

Yeah, that's very true.

Back on topic: I'm hopin that they did come, but that could mean that there was not much time spent in Africa, if that's the case (especially if Frankfurt was a Pit Stop).

Regarding the tweet/blog about JeJo in Germany, it could be true, since the 5th and 6th out probably went to ES in Puerto Vallarta just like the first 4 would have from S America.
