I would have them fly into Glasgow or Edinburgh for Leg 4 then pitstop at the Angel of the North then travel down the country to get the Eurostar to get to France.

I'm not very fond of the South America legs. I do think the race should visit Latin America (Central America/Caribbean) and Africa more, and have less Asia.
