So thats what they are dressed up for, thanks Banzai it was driving me crazy. Not sure what detour they are doing ..what sort of gifts do you bring to a wedding? Giraffes, rams? :D

I found some trees like that last night at a place called Nha Van Hoa Lao Dong.
Heres a map , its behind the Reunification palace. Not sure how common they are around HCMC?

I see now.
Those are not Xmas trees. They look like xmas trees.
They're modern contemporary landscaping decorative trees to beautify the surroundings.  :colors
