Just some speculation on the Switchback - wasn't Mel White (of Mike and Mel) in Tokyo and Cambodia at the same time as the racers? Maybe the Switchback is something to do with him?

Anything is possible. After all, Kevin/Drew did a cameo in the opening leg of TAR:FE.

I don't think "re-visiting the site of one of the series' most famous Roadblocks" has anything to do with seeing Mel & Mike. If they do see Mel & Mike (which doesn't seem likely at all) I doubt it will be the Switchback.

Mel was there, but pretty sure he was tied up with his own agenda at that time.
Need to check the Timelines to be sure about this...but seems to me we always had a bit of time around Prague...before and after?? ???
Not sure if there is enough time for an extra leg though, but I think the other times are pretty tight.

12 legs, with 12 episodes (counting this Sunday as the first two) re-enforces December 6th for the finale.
