Amazing Race applications and casting calls: TAR 19 up on p 4!!!

Does anyone know when CBS traditionally releases applications for the season that would air in the spring? I would think that it would have to come in the next few weeks with filming happening in mid-late fall. I am newer to the TAR bandwagon, some of you might have more insight. Also, if we don't see an application released in the next couple of weeks, could that be an indication that TAR18 could be an All-Star edition?

Those dates are not necessarily correct. Your best bet is to watch the CBS site. :tup:

Does anyone remember how the previous seasons casting calls were advertised? Was it with season number?
Maybe I'm missing it, but the Ninety Nine restaurants and Resorts casino only had "The Amazing Race" with no season #.
Perhaps this is telling us that the next one will be a special edition and this casting is for fall 2011?
