Well, I sat on that webcam sight for 2 hours hitting refresh every 2 minutes. I saw some activity then it died down so I thought it was nothing. Then I find out that if I had stayed up for one more hour I would have seen racers. :groan: That'll teach me to not stay up all night with Peach!
Anyway, before I went to bed I did get this screen cap. It was about 3 hours before the racers came through. It looks like the arrival of the kayaks they are using. Nice peak inside how quickly production sets up. Also, in the background of many of the pics you can see a crane, which I think might be a camera boom. It seems to have shown up about 3 days before the race, but I'll have to go back and look at more pictures to make sure.

Miracle of miracle, I managed to snag the next frame at 10:04 am. It has the suspended cameramen farther along the line.

Boy, in two minutes you can't see them. They zoomed down that river.
Camera is still pointing up river. "Blue" team must not be the last team.

A taxi arrived at bout 10:22 am. By 10:32 we have what may be another team in the water. You can see the suspended cameramen in action.
