TAR 15 spoilers, sightings & locations *summary page 1*
Chateau d If:
The water on the concrete is up to 2" deep and the concrete is slimy. Very hard to walk on. Don't try running.
I can't wait to see the Teams try to drive their Mercedes on it :funny:
This shot was taken from about where the Mercedes were parked. That column structure looks like a good place to get pictures from ;)
I found this black tape still on the concrete. It marks a location that was perpendicular to the 200' long wire fence/wall that showed up in the start image. That wire fence is now gone of course. I suspect X marks the spot of the first elimination of the season.
Production had done a super job of cleaning up after themselves. The only traces of TAR I found were:
1) One yellow pull tab from a clue envelope
2) Over 100 of these tiny steel "s" hooks (I picked up about half of them). They had been modified by prying open one end of the "s" to a larger size. They were distributed exactly in front of where the wire fence had been.
3) Two Polaroid Camera film negative pull outs.

Oh wow!1 Thanks Chateau!! I have a much better mental picture now of where they were and what it looks like!
So they have to drive out via that tunnel? Guess there is no passing! :funny:

Looks like Dubai is the next stop!

--- Quote ---Afterward, we bought some dates and headed to the tallest building in the world. A half-mile tall, specifically.
Yet another photo that doesn't do it justice. Also, not sideways. Thanks, Nokia.
It was even more surreal and science-fictiony up close. Like a slender finger reaching into space. Made slightly more surreal by a) the Bellagio-style water show in the lake next to it, and b) the Amazing Race participants looking for clues as we left the restaurant where we ate dinner. For real.
Dubai is an interesting place.

That would be one long jump from Phnom Penh via Bangkok.
