I Survived A Japanese Game Show (Season 2) Premieres June 17th

RHR:
Not sure if anyone knows or cares for that matter, but I thought I'd mention that the new season of I Survived A Japanese Game Show starts next Wednesday on the 17th - 9PM eastern on ABC. It was originally scheduled to begin July 8th but they're moving Mike Judge's new animated series The Good Family and Bob Saget's crappy sitcom Surviving Suburbia to Friday (aka the death slot) and airing this earlier than planned.

Anyone going to watch?  :duno:

puddin:
I couldn't get into it, sorry RHR.
I agree, Friday nights are the death slot for shows....do you hear me FOX?

No need to be sorry. I watched half of the first episode last season and stopped, haha. But since I prematurely gave up on it, I'm going to give it a go this year and see what happens. That and I've turned into a reality tv competition fanatic since last summer, when the only things on my platter were The Mole and the nightmarish disaster that turned out to be Last Comic Standing: Season 6.

I hear ya. The Goode Family's been a decent show so far, but on Friday it's just about doomed to face cancellation during or after the season concludes.

Well, even if you're the last at least I've informed one person who's likely to watch. *pats self on back*

Anyone catch the premiere?

I thought it was okay. The thing that instantly turned me off last season reared it's head right away this time around as well, which was the forced and over-blown enthusiasm from the contestants. Either ABC is casting a bunch of crack addicts or the producers are making it FAAAAAAR too obvious that they're telling them to be frantically energetic and enthusiastic.

On the positive side, the prima donna bitch went first, so I won't be extremely annoyed for the next eight weeks.
