That green tag says: TranStar, which is a Guatemalan transportation company... so, they are definetely in Guatemala, but i don't know if the race is starting there or they are flying to another country to start the race  :duno:

Que buena vista. Eso haría dos salidas seguidas desde Guate. Pensé que también el piso del aeropuerto ayudaría.

What a good sight. That will make two starts in a row from Guatemala. I thought the tiled floor at the airport might help.

Mi suposición: 1 O TARLA 3 comienza en Guate ó 2 Harris ya llegó a otro lado sin quitar etiquetas de TranStar (checar piso) ó 3 Harris carga con demasiado vestuario :-).

My supposition: Either TARLA 3 begins in Guatemala or 2 Harris has arrived somewhere else without removing the TranStar tags (check floor tiles) or 3 Harris wardrobe is too much :-).

Ningún aeropuerto principal de México tiene un piso como ese y no recuerdo el de La Aurora/GUA.

No main airport in Mexico has a floor like that and I can't remember that of La Aurora International/GUA.

Saludos.

I also think they are not starting in Guatemala, and they could be flying to another country... but since Harris posted a picture on an airplane, i suggest that this picture in the airport was taken before getting on the plane.... An by now, Harris is on the Starting Line... i hope he keeps helping us with this :D

Xarles:
Dear Gonzalo,

That plane looks either like a private jet with VERY big windows or it is the very front row in Business Class (seat 7A) in an Aerolineas Argentinas 747. See how the wall folds in (only in a 747) in front and whatever is in front is not another seat.

As Harris mentions (Dawns) it is also possible that it is a Wide Body jet at Easter Island (CL!!!) since he tweeted between 12 noon in western Mexico and 5 PM in eastern Brazil, looong after dawn for the mainland.

Even though an A340 is marked for today's Miami-Buenos Aires, it could have been changed for a 747 and then it could have been a very early picture at MIA and tweeted later from Bs As.

I'll see if I can get more info since the only operator of 747s in LatAm is Argentinas.
