Hell's Kitchen Season 6

<< < (25/33) > >>

TexasLady:
I'm sorry to see Van go, NOT sorry to see Sabrina go.

For the first time ever, I was really annoyed at Ramsay, smashing the halibut, pieces of it flying into Dave's eyes. Stupid!
Tennille stepped it up and from what we could see did a good job running the kitchen. Dave and Kevin also did well and I think we see the final 3. If I had my way it would have been Suzanne leaving instead of Van, she refused to take leadership when she had the opportunity to do so.

KitKat, I agree, I'm pulling for Dave to win.

HK6, ep. 10

This episode started with the chefs assembled before sous chef Scot, who wanted to play show them a live video hookup on a large screen strategically placed in the dining room. Ramsay claimed to be in Whistler BC at the Araxi restaurant checking up on things. He promised to arrive in 2.5 hours and bring something special. Now that was predominantly pure FOX/Arthur Smith b.s. The most convenient commercial airport in the vicinity of Whistler, Blackcomb, British Columbia is Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Vancouver International Airport is located 7 miles south of downtown Vancouver, BC, which is 76 miles from Whistler. Driving time to Whistler, BC, is typically an average of 1 hour and 50 minutes. Average flight time is 2 hours 54 minutes from Vancouver airport to LAX. That means it is 4 hours 44 minutes to get to LAX and then to get tranportation and to wherever the restaurant is. I hear it's at 915 North La Brea avenue, in Hollywood, which at least 30 minutes from LAX. So, Ramsay's 2.5 hours means that he is not starting from Whistler. I recommend to FOX and Arthur Smith that trying to misguide viewers is never a good thing. Also, Sasha Cohen’s Hometown is Laguna Niguel, California. Jonny Mosely appears to be living in the San Francisco Bay area. What would Cohen or Mosely be doing in Whistler in the summer 2009 when Hell's Kitchen was taped? Nothing, as it was unlikely that they were there at the time.

It is late now, so I will have to finish this probably Saturday night. The 2 episodes were very nitty gritty, but the right chefs were eliminated.

Thanks apskip. I missed the opening because of a phone call, I'll watch it again and take notice.

Tory:  :waves:  He does remind me of Danny but yes, he is nicer (maybe that is more controlled) and perhaps a better chef. I want to see how he controls the line when he has the opportunity as well as Kevin. My son and DIL don't like Tennille. (But she's a character and while I don't think she will win, I do like her, she can step it up when she has to.)
