If golf goes over, it will be shuttled to Golf Channel. CBS will start primetime lineup on time.

For the regular season, games that go into the 6 p.m. news window means the CBS Evening News or local news will be squeezed so it ends by 6:30 or 7 p.m. TAR will still be safe.

But all bets are off for the NCAA Tournament on March 22 and 29.
