--- Quote ---So they induce the Trichler's with alcohol helping to force the fake laughter right Slowhatch?

With enough booze it's not fake anymore.  ;D  :beer2:
They're still a bit of a mystery to me: here's a video, just bell-walkers--nothing to do with cheese.

ouch, my filling hurts now, lol!

We don't think the teams have to do any bell ringing right? They are just there for local color??

DrRox:
Poor Luke, he reminded me of a brand new snow skier losing control. The body tells the brain, "The rest of us are sitting down now!!!" And the brain goes, "Yeah, that is a good idea!!"

Kiwi Jay:
Who says he just ate it. It sounds like Mark or Michael but if they are up in the front then maybe Marge and Luke are too!

Mrs Shrek:

--- Quote from: Slowhatch on February 04, 2009, 02:27:37 AM ---My guess was listed here, but it was only a guess; the Matten cowbellers could have been trucked to another spot. Maybe the TOI-Interlaken people thumbed through their rolodex and called the Matten TrychlerClub: "Grab your bells and head up the mountain to farmer john's cottage tomorrow morning." The only reason I chose that patch of ground is the steep slope which lands at city-level (the trychler cap), and the cottage near the bottom of the slope.

--- End quote ---

What do you think the high wire fence is for in the pic below? It seems too high just to keep animals fenced in, even high jumpers like deer. Could it be the edge of a tennis court or some other sports ground? Could it help identify the area in google earth at all?

And there are at least 3 buildings we can identify.
The white one in the picture above that the bell ringers are standing in front of,

the one at the bottom of the hill where the teams stack their cheese,

and the hut at the top of the hill where they get the cheese from also looks more permanent than something WRP would erect just for the show...

apskip:
Mrs. Shrek, as a long-term tennis player I can say that that does not look like the end of any tennis court I have ever seen. More likely(but still with small percent probability), soccer could be what happening there. However, I we may not know in time for episode 1 telecast.
