So they do something before leaving LA? I guess I wasn't paying attention.  :didimiss:

"death-defying." = Navigate yourself in LA traffic to LAX...  :funny: :funny: :funny:

although I still would love to see them  parachute out of those helis! I think the death defying of course probably refers to our bungy jump... an editorial faux pas...

Maybe winched into the helicopters from the deck of sinking ship  :swim - someone (I forget who) did say there were boats involved somehow.  :duno:

--- Quote from: apskip on February 04, 2009, 09:20:35 AM ---If Peach's investment in Murren research does prove useful, I have some transportation information that is a slightly more extensive than previously reported:

A series of four cable cars, known as the Luftseilbahn Stechelberg-Mürren-Schilthorn (LSMS), provides transportation from Mürren downhill to Gimmelwald and Stechelberg, and uphill to the summit of the Schilthorn and the revolving restaurant Piz Gloria. This was a principal filming location for the James Bond movie On Her Majesty's Secret Service, released in 1969.

Mürren is also connected to Lauterbrunnen by the Bergbahn Lauterbrunnen-Mürren, which consists of a narrow gauge railway and a connecting aerial tramway. Mürren is also the lower terminus of the Allmendhubelbahn funicular.

There are no roads connecting up to Murren. so going there can only be accomplished by one of the above or maybe by helicopter.

I remember seeing On Her Majesty's Secret Service and Piz Gloria!  It had a different function in the film than it did in real life!
