TAR14 EP1: 'Don’t Let a Cheese Hit Me' (Switzerland)

My guess was listed here, but it was only a guess; the Matten cowbellers could have been trucked to another spot. Maybe the TOI-Interlaken people thumbed through their rolodex and called the Matten TrychlerClub: "Grab your bells and head up the mountain to farmer john's cottage tomorrow morning." The only reason I chose that patch of ground is the steep slope which lands at city-level (the trychler cap), and the cottage near the bottom of the slope.

If Peach's investment in Murren research does prove useful, I have some transportation information that is a slightly more extensive than previously reported:
A series of four cable cars, known as the Luftseilbahn Stechelberg-Mürren-Schilthorn (LSMS), provides transportation from Mürren downhill to Gimmelwald and Stechelberg, and uphill to the summit of the Schilthorn and the revolving restaurant Piz Gloria. This was a principal filming location for the James Bond movie On Her Majesty's Secret Service, released in 1969.
Mürren is also connected to Lauterbrunnen by the Bergbahn Lauterbrunnen-Mürren, which consists of a narrow gauge railway and a connecting aerial tramway. Mürren is also the lower terminus of the Allmendhubelbahn funicular.
There are no roads connecting up to Murren. so going there can only be accomplished by one of the above or maybe by helicopter.

An interesting little toy here, although I'm not sure how useful it is. Enter the following to see the initial drive:
* 4442 Doolittle, Los Alamitos, CA (start)
* 6351 West Century, Los Angeles, CA (Park One/finish) Los Alamitos doesn't allow Street View, so that won't kick in until you reach the 605 fwy. On the parent page, there's a more useful photo mapper with embedded Flickr and Panoramio.
