It has already gone east to west before

cdfe, I was talking about starting outside the continental US as the first, not the whole east-west thing. It just seems fit if they start with where I think they'll start.

apskip:
Raymond,
I have no idea where you think they will start, but with 14 seasons all starting in the U.S. why do you think AR15 will be different? Teams could visit Canada or Mexico or the Caribbean later on their first or next-to-last legs, but I don't expect that World Race Productions will have the start outside the lower 48 states. They would just stick out too much in pre-race preparation if in Alaska or Hawaii and increase the probability that the start of the race is observed.

I realize that in the past two years the precedent of finishing in the lower 48 has been abolished with finishes in Alaska and Hawaii, but I do not think that will happen to the start. The best reason I will cite is the relationships that World Race Productions has developed with sponsors like American Airlines, who benefit from a lower 48 start.

Jobby:
I don't think they will start outside of the USA, nor will they end the race outside of USA. Probably because this is still an american show, not like TAR Asia or what..

Neobie:
Do you guys even think they'd start outside of Los Angeles anymore? :groan:
