Dancing With The Stars Season 8

Monday’s Dancing: What You Didn’t See
Baby-Geared Tush: The seamstresses on Dancing have grown accustomed to repairing a snapped strap on one of Julianne Hough’s dresses, but this time all eyes, er, needles, were pointed at her dancing partner and boyfriend Chuck Wicks. “My shirt wouldn’t stay tucked in during the rehearsals, so they sewed my shirt to my boxers,” he told PEOPLE. “It’s like wearing a onesie. No big deal.”
Dancing Freestyle: Before the show begins, it’s commonplace for audience members get out of their seat and shake their booty on the dancefloor. First up the gents, then the ladies. This time, the ladies received a lucky surprise when Gilles Marini and Tony Dovolani joined the delighted group for a quick jig.
Honey-Voiced Host: Yes, a spoonful (or two) of sugar was just what the Dancing doctor order for host Samantha Harris, whose voice was nearly gone last week while she fought a cold. She was spotted taking two spoonfuls of honey before the start of the show. Her voice made it all the way through the show in tact.
DWTS Alumni Reunion: Dancing alum Heather Mills — sporting a new shorter do — was in the ballroom audience along with a mystery guy for Monday night’s performance. As soon as the show ended, pro dancer Kym Johnson waltzed over and gave Mills a huge hug. “She’s a got a new look going on,” says Johnson, who called Mills makeover hot. “It’s always nice to have people come back, sitting in the audience. It really is a big family when you’re on DWTS.” Also on hand: Steve “The Woz” Wozniak, who stood and cheered for friend Steve-O after he danced the Viennese waltz.
Here, There, Everywhere: A lucky audience member received an advanced copy of Tom Bergeron’s new book, I’m Hosting as Fast as I Can: Zen and the Art of Staying Sane in Hollywood, which hits stores Tuesday. Perhaps the host, who started his career at age 17 as a radio host, should re-read his own book: Following Tuesday’s results show, the busy host is scheduled to hop a red-eye to Washington, D.C., where his former gig, America’s Funniest Home Videos, will be added to the Smithsonian collection.

Julianne Hough Won't Let Chuck Wicks Slide
There have been a handful of romances formed on Dancing With the Stars, but the start of this season brought the first actual couple to the stage together in the form of country singer Chuck Wicks and two-time DWTS pro champ (and rising country star in her own right) Julianne Hough.
And while the real-life lovebirds have managed to make it through this injury-plagued season without busting a knee or busting up their relationship, they admit to OK! it's not always easy.
“I get frustrated because I want to live up to her standards," Chuck confessed to OK! after Monday night's performance show, where they earned a respectable 23 for their Viennese waltz. "She’s obviously won the show twice and she’s had her partners in the past who have been probably better dancers than me. I want to make her I think I’m one of those dancers. She’s there to kick a boot in my butt and get me rocking.”
And Julianne even admitted that there was a bit of tension in the rehearsal studio this week. “I got upset," she told OK!. "I wasn’t letting him slide.”
Another source of the tension could have been the lead-up to Sunday night's Academy of Country Music Awards, where Julianne brought home the Best New Artist award.

Julianne Hough Leaving 'Dancing With the Stars'
Here is something that is going to disappoint the millions of males who watch "Dancing With the Stars" every week just to get a sneak peak at the stunning swinger/singer — she’s stepping away.
"I wasn't planning to come back this season because I wanted to focus on my music," Hough told us backstage after taking out the Top New Artist category. "But I went back and it’s been so much fun to dance with my good friend who happens to be my boyfriend." (She then motioned to her personal and professional partner, Chuck Wicks, who was patiently waiting to congratulate his leading lady.)
So are Hough's "Dancing" days done with for good now?
"I will be taking next season off," she confirmed, adding that she'll be busy touring and bringing out the "real" Julianne Hough.
Julianne Hough stole the Academy of Country Music Awards show in Sin City on Sunday night by showing off her flawless figure in a form-fitting gold gown by Zuhair Murad, but the super-svelte star insisted that she has no restrictions when it comes to diet.
"Apparently Us Weekly says I don't eat carbs except for orange juice," she told Tarts, referring to last week's cover of the weekly magazine. "But trust me, I eat what I want. (The story) was very random. So young girls - don’t let OJ be your only carbs!"
So what is the real recipe behind the ballroom babe’s itty bitty body?
"Eat until you’re just full and keep working out," Hough responded.
But the 20-year-old almost revealed a little too much of herself earlier in the evening when her zipper came undone during her acceptance speech. Hough let out a surprised squeal mid-sentence when Jack Ingram was laid his hands on her; well we think he was "trying" to fix the wardrobe malfunction.

TARAsia Fan:
Yeah, I don't see her coming back anytime soon. When she won the award on Sunday, I felt in her mind, that validated her as a country singer. Julianne will not come back next season, not the season after that and probably she won't be ever coming back.
