Did I miss it? Was the other U Turn in this leg or last leg? (Having a baby that needs attention sometimes causes me to miss portions :-[ )

No U-Turn at all, so it must have been un-used on another leg and just not aired.
It is on my list of things to ask at TARcon, like why in the world did the racers carry around that wrapped up brown package last week AND this week and we never are told why?
puddin:
When Nick rejoined Starr at the Flat, she said she was waiting 2 hours for him fwiw.
Alvin06:
I just noticed the difference in backgrounds during the post-race interview before the episode ended. The background for Ken and Tina is different from that of Dandrew and Nick and Emily (it's the same for the other 2 teams just mentioned). Or is it that Dandrews and Nick and Starr's just look similar?
It's sad seeing Toni and Dallas go. It's worse that they are not in the final pitstop.
As what others have mentioned, ep10 can be award-winning.
Notice also the face of Dan when he learned about the loss of the passports. His attitude just doesn't fit the winners' editing of TAR.

Here are some tidbits from Rob's excellent interview with Toni/Dallas:
How the pouch was lost:
Dallas was in the cab coming from the Roadblock
His battery for the sound mike required changing, so production undid the POUCH to change the battery!
Dallas then changed cabs, in the second for 20-30 minutes, went to the hotel where they had spent the night to get some help from the concierge, at that point when he went to pay the taxi realized that he no longer had the pouch.
The Long Walk:
Toni and Dallas consciously took the Metro knowing that they should be in a taxi, but knowing they did not have enough money
They expected a 30 minute penalty and were surprised when they were told to go back
AT that point however, cameras were not allowed on the Metro after 3PM, so they made a 2 hour walk back, where they met Phil and were eliminated
Production told them that at that point they were only 30 minutes behind Ken/Tina
Re the Passports:
They were returned to the Embassy late that same night, presumably by the taxi-driver
The next AM, when T/D called the Embassy, they were told the passports had been returned.
By that time it was too late for them to reach the Mat in Portland in time to join the other teams.
