The Amazing Race 14 Speculation on Spoilers

I dont want to sound off, but when i look at the girl in Orange she just looks deaf to me idk why.
But many deaf people dont wear hearing aids [Marlee Matlin doesnt wear any, Christie on Survivor Didnt]. Also she didnt say how deaf the girls was, she could just be deaf in one ear.
