As of 2005, there were 57 official ghats in Delhi (here, last story); production wouldn't go to an unlicensed place, but that still leaves us with dozens to choose from. There are pages at the MCD site (they have an interesting map here) that claim the govt. is going to map the ghats, but they either keep the map well hidden or they never got around to it. A couple of search terms from social-worker documents here and here:

* A dhobi pays about a quarter of her daily income for charcoal to heat the "sad iron"
* Ghat=office Adday=cubicle
