I personally found Oliver's fingerpointing ridiculously immature.

They all had access to the discs. There was no system that had to be followed by anybody. So Oliver chose to organize his choices a certain way; Geoff chose to look for discs without fingerprints. To make it sound like Geoff deliberately sabotaged him was just plain childish.

Good riddance, Oliver. Now, I know you and Mai are perfect for each other.

do you think there are only 6 correct discs? that would've sucked for oliver and mai. sam and vince got paid by lady luck after blurting out the location of the clue at the museum on the previous leg.

Alan, beyondbreak, Neobie, bikermama, calv...........thank you so much!

So Allan knocking on the window was in Taipei the whole time! lmao

calv_10, I have taken a look at the probabilities and estimated times inolved and I conclude that it was only 6 discs. Here is how it worked:

Assume that you have 6 good discs out of the 1000 stated and also that it takes 10 seconds on average for a try. The first to finish will do so at an average maximum time of 167 minutes and average of 83 minutes based on 0.6%(6/1000) probability per try. Each good disc when found has to be removed and not returned. The second to finish will do so at an average max. of 200 minutes and average of 100 minutes based on 0.50% probability (5/999) per try. The third to finish will do so at an average of 250 minutes average max. and average of 125 minutes based on 0.40%(4/998).  The fourth to finish will do so at an average max. of 333 minutes average max. and average of 167 minutes based on 0.301%(3/997). The fifth to finish will do so at an average max. of 214 minutes and average of 107 minutes based on 0.201% (2/996). The final team to finish needs an average max. of 499 minutes and average of 250 minutes based on 0.101%(1/995). The last team will take on average 3 times what the first team does. It appears that the last team was moving very slowly with a reported 167 videos checked in what must have been close to 5 hours.

Teams do not know that a random event is coming. If they did they would make a maximum effort to get there at the front of the pack.

EDITOR's NOTE: I had the probabilities as shown above originally, but changed them. Then I decided that the original ones were correct and changed them back.
