Renny they had in effect shoot to kill people didnt see what was really going on with burglars and people who had left their homes and the burglars would go in and take their stuff, that is why they had the shoot to kill order

renny I dont know I just remember coming back into the city and seeing a baseball field set up as a morgue

They are talking about the flood waters being the thing that killed the people and how there were a lot of burguleries that happened and the police were told to shoot to kill and Renny doesn't remember seeing body bags.

renny doesn't remember how long she was gone, she thinks four weeks. When she came back she had to prove that she lived there.
She went to AUburn where her son went. She stayed at the apartment there and the atheletic program told them that they could put them up there.
Ollie say for each football player that is awesome, that tells you what the athletic director is all about (he is amazed)

Renny telling them that what people didn't see was the burglars stealing things. The houses that were not under water were having the things stolen from them. That's why they had a shoot to kill order out. (She lives in Metairie a suburb of NO.)
