He seems like such a sweet guy I do wonder how well he can argue his way in the boardroom against some of the more vocal outspoken and vicious ones it will be interesting to see him in that kind of situation

An interesting article more about Jesse James:
Jesse James Stars For Schools
An area business owner and celebrity will attempt to raise money in support of local schools on an upcoming reality television show.
Jesse James, owner of West Coast Choppers, a custom motorcycle and car shop in west Long Beach, and its nearby eatery Cisco Burger, is slated to be a contestant on NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice 2,” where he has pledged to raise money for the Long Beach Education Foundation (LBEF).
“Over the years I have watched Long Beach’s Industrial Arts programs go down hill,” James wrote in an e-mail. “The (classes) get less and less money and most are shut down. These are classes that kids want to take. Somebody needed to step up and do something to give these kids the opportunity to learn some skills.”
It was in classes such as these that James said he became aware of his talents. He attributes his success to an encouraging and influential teacher he had in high school.
James, who went to high school at Millikan in Long Beach and La Sierra in Riverside, has already set up an account with the foundation, donating $60,000 to start the fund last month, according to Judy Seal, executive director of the LBEF. This endeavor will be the first of its kind for the foundation, she said.
“He wants to have a hands-on approach where he visits classrooms and meets with students and teachers to discuss how additional funding might help,” she continued. “….Jesse wants to identify the students’ needs and teachers’ desires relative to the goals of the classroom.”
The donation, which LBEF President-Elect Mike Murray said was one of the larger gifts the organization has ever received, will go toward paying for industrial-arts classes such as auto shop and welding at both the middle school and high school level.
“I think in today’s economy, to take kids who are motivated and talented in an area and to take the example of Jesse James and what he has accomplished in a vocational field, couldn’t be better,” Murray said.
In 2008, the LBEF raised more than $1 million for the school district. Its sole purpose, according to Murray, is to ensure that every student in the district receives the education he or she needs to succeed.
“Celebrity Apprentice 2” will air at 9 p.m. Sunday, March 1, on NBC. James, who has cultivated on-camera experience on such shows as “Motorcycle Mania” and “Monster Garage,” currently is shooting episodes of “Jesse James is a Dead Man” for Spike TV.
“He’s such a part of Long Beach,” Murray said. “The synergy of it (the partnership) and the win-win of it is amazing.”

Celebrity Apprentice

Well...it's announced. I am on Celebrity Apprentice. It is true. I can't go into any detail, of course, about how the show goes but whatever happens to me that show always raises a ton for charity so that is why I did the show. Before I decided that I would be on it, I had no idea that the show raised over $1 million for charity last year. When I went to my first meeting with them we were discussing the show and how it worked and then the EP just came out with that million dollar figure and I was like oh wow that is pretty amazing. Regardless of whether or not my charity would benefit, being part of raising a million dollars for any charity would be a pretty amazing experience. So, of course, when they offered me the show I had to agree because that is a crazy amount of money for a bunch of good causes.
Okay...you are going to have to watch the show to find out how I do. Just know I took it really seriously because once I get involved in something I definitely study up on the game and try to play it well. Tha tbeing said, they did divide us into men vs women which was a very bad draw for me because, to be fair, I am a poker player and have spent the greater part of my adult life interacting only with men and men who spend all fo their time needling each other at that. I eman we are not talking about a business where people worry about hurting other peoples' feelings. The people I deal with are direct and blunt and that style of communication does not necessarily go over well in a room full of women. So I go into the season with a very bad draw in terms of the interpersonal thing. There ya go. I don't relate well to girls (except my own daughters but to be fair they really have my type of personality).
Okay...on to some other stuff. Maud and I had a humongous fight this week and I am really struggling with dealing with a 13 yr old girl. Man, I must have really tortured my mom. We have made up now but boy it was a bad one. So bad I had to call her Dad to get him involved. it can be so hard because she is so bright and talented and sweet underneath all that teenage angst and teenage I have to hate my mother obviously. And trying to sit back and be the adult and just understnd what is going on and how hard it is to be a teenager and all that can be so damn hard...so really really hard.
Nelly smashed her face on the cement at school this week and ended up with the hugest fat lip you have ever seen. She would have made Lisa Rinna jealous. She was every insecure LA girl's dream. She knocked a couple of teeth loose but luckily they were all baby teeth. Poor thing. She could only swallow liquids for a few days and she is already the skinniest thing you have ever seen.
All right...getting ready for Sundance this weekend then next week is Leo's 11th birthday!
