The one gap we have so far in our Timeline (see page 1) so far is May 26-27--after Hue and before HK.

Based on a little hint I was given  and based on geographical proximity, puddin and I  have been talking about TAIWAN for the missing location.

Apskip---can we make it fit with flights? Vietnam to Taiwan to HK?

Puddin and I think it might fit in well here...

apskip:
Peach,
You backed off then due to my concerns about Taiwan not fitting into the time space well. Guess what? That's still true. If Taipei is the place(which is most likely), then arrival there would be either mid-afternoon to late evening of May 26 at the earliest. Either way, we will see hours of operation and the Taipei area pitstop will not be possible to start until the evening of the 27th. The first group can take the first reasonable morning of May 28 flight to Hong Kong, but the second will be many hours after that. Some teams can get to Hong Kong in time for a sighting on the 28th(I don't remember when that would be but someone who knows can remind us), but the lagging teams will probably not be able to.

georgiapeach:
I know I did... (and I wish I hadn't,)

The tip from Macau turned out to be true and looks as though the Taiwan one may be correct too!

Oh I expect they'll figure something out--bunch them or use charters or something...

It is looking like Taiwan from what Neobie and Boingo and Slowhatch have found so far anyway...

Or even what my parents like to call "thousand year old eggs". They eat still eat them. I find them disgusting, but they love them. Maybe this is what they'll eat in Taiwan.

Thousand Year Old Egg.

georgiapeach:
They are having a really hard time with it whatever it is... do you eat those with chopsticks?
Anthony's oyster vermicelli looks good--until they substitute  the pig intestine for the oysters then :barf

Can we make out anything from the night drive?
