Certainly screams Hue, but where... pitstop hotel, restaurant, other.... also depends on where the pitstop is... seeing that they started out in downtown Hue and then went to the tomb, they might stay at a hotel nearby. Coincidently, there is a boutique hotel near the tomb, The Pilgrimage Village Hotel & Spa. If not, then it's back to Hue. If TARA's budget is anything like TAR, then look for 4 and 5 star hotels ONLY. The bamboo thingie may be at the hotel.

I couldn't find any hotels in that area Boingo, good job with the The Pilgrimage Village Hotel & Spa but boy that is pretty fancy, lol
my closest find to any place with "bamboo" screens :lol:

Well, drat!
I had no idea why y'all were saying "screams Hue"...am I the only one JUST now seeing the decoration on the mats is a copy of this entrance to the Imperial Palace? :lol3:
Oh well. I have checked out the hot springs and the national park, lol. :snicker:

That's the Thai Hoa palace in the background. If you look the opposite direction through the Ngo Mon gate, you can see the spot where the cluebox was.
