<< < (57/289) > >>

Anthonyctf:
YAY :jumpy: Is me again
TARA3 Will air at 11-9-08 but I still have a spoilers in HK Leg
First Scottott in HKDiscuss said that
His/Her brother saw TARA3 race in Lamma Island
However Scottott did not say about the time and the date
But Lamma Island has a boat to Aberdeen and it is near Stanley(Blake Pier)
So maybe this Spoilers is true
Next 302618816 in HKDiscuss said that
His/Her Friends saw some people
wear a T-shirt/Jacket which have written The Amazing Race in front of the clothes in Central
302618816 also did not say about the time and the date
So I think this Spoilers maybe worng
because wear a clothes with The Amazing Race does not mean they are playing TARA= =
So this maybe not a Spoilers :duno:

And about the Macau Leg
hk34wong said that he saw the teams in Macau Tower in 5/30
He/She said he saw 3 Teams in Macau Tower
and he /she have said HELLO with the camera
hk34wong said he/she has took some photo
But he/she still haven't give me the photo yet (:;)

georgiapeach:
Thank you Anthony!  :gj:

Lamma Island sounds quite possible--perhaps you could ask scottott what day and time his brother saw them and also for a description of what the team looked like?

And of course we would love to see a Macau picture if that person wants to share?

And I agree that the clothing is not a spoiler...

We appreciate your keeping an eye out for us!  :ty4posting

Some new team updates:

I sent our Chiang Mai blogger who saw the teams at the airport there all of the new cast photos.

She previously had given us this description:

--- Quote ---The adventures started at the airport in Chiang Mai when three sets of couples ran past us, each trailed by a camera guy and an audio guy. We are pretty sure that they were part of the show The Amazing Race but when we asked them all one guy could say was "I don't know what you're talking about." Yeah, right.
--- End quote ---

and

--- Quote ----There were three couples. one was two shorter women. they had black backpacks on and on the packs were yellow stickers that had an army slogan (i.e. "you can do it"). I remember them as wearing all black as well. They were rather short 5'5"or less and while I don't want to sound prejudicial my two friends that I was traveling with (who are both gay) totally thought these two women were too. i actually never saw their faces. i will fwd to my friends and see if they have any info. the second couple i think was two younger (20s/30s)guys...will have to double check. the third was definitely a guy and a girl (prob. dating). they were both white. she had longer brown/black hair and was really skinny and wearing a little tank top. he had a british accent b/c he's the one that said "" i don't know what you're talking about" THey looked to be in their early 30s.
--- End quote ---

After seeing the photos she had  this to say:

--- Quote ---I am nearly positive that the teams we saw were the Geoff and Tisha (the "i don't know what you're talking about" guy) & A.D. and Fuzzie (the black backpacks...see above). The two guys don't immediately fit any of the couples in these pics. I really thought one of them was caucasian. Maybe Niroo and Kapil??
--- End quote ---

I'm hoping she will be able to ask her friends as well.

I also sent Shirley, our Hue blogger the same photos.

She previously had said:

--- Quote ---The first pair I saw, I vaguely remember a bald/clean-shaven Caucasian man. I can't remember his companion.
--- End quote ---
She was not able to confirm Geoff or any of the other males as the bald Caucasian due to distance...

re The team that asked you for water:
--- Quote ---The second pair I saw was 2 ladies. One of them has curly short hair.
And:  possibly the 2nd team of 2 women carrying their backpacks, had an Asian. I remember the lady asking me for water is quite big-sized, I am not quite sure of her companion right now. The one in the yellow box could be the 2nd team I saw.
--- End quote ---
Yellow box photo was AD, and she now confirms AD/Fuzzie as this team! :hearts:

--- Quote ---the third team or rather the team I saw with the slip and riding the cyclo was made up of two women
--- End quote ---

I sent her pics of both female teams but she was unable to confirm either as the team she saw, again due to distance.

And of course, thanks to JonLover's team, we already knew that the 4th team that she saw w/ photo evidence was Oliver and Mai.

I'm loving knowing that AD/Fuzzy have at least made it this far! :jumpy:

A little push up/spoiler from the producer:

  5 hours ago, Michael_McKay says:     (http://amazing-race-asia.axn-asia.com/about/producer/)

It's getting closer to the start of the Race now so what can fans expect?

Well, as the Network has already said, it's going to be a tough Race. The toughest Asian Race, sure, but as tough as any US Race too I'd say.

The first few legs in particular are punishing and we've thrown in a few surprises for the viewers. Take nothing for granted ;)

How tough will it be? Right from the very first challenge. And the second is a biggie. As soon as you see it you'll know what I mean.

And don't worry, the second episode is no push over. I've never seen so many bruises in a Race let alone a single leg.

One of the big factors in this series is the heat and humidity. It's there all the time. Sometimes it's hard for that to come across on TV but believe me, it gets to the teams when there is no let up.

The way the route is set up for this series I would best describe as "relentless". We wanted the teams to be always on the go, to be always challenged.

And I thank all of the viewers who have given me their feedback over the past two seasons on what type of challenges you like. I'm not sure the Racers will thank you for it but I have included much of that feedback in developing the third series. Enjoy!

Looking at the videos from Jonnal...

They're showing quite an awful lot of Bangkok...

Now let's find this! (Beijing isn't crazy about palms from what I know...)

ETA: The Conrad?
